The bright stage lights beamed down like scorching UV rays from the Sun in Dover, New Hampshire. Two adversaries stood adjacent with all the same aspirations. The 2017 Granite State Open Natural Bodybuilding Championship was on the line, and for Nygel Satterfield, the taste of defeat was too familiar.
In 2015, the nonfulfillment in the same competition left him hungry for success. He devoted countless hours in the gym, and maintained apex performance. He kept a rigorous diet, and was determined to change the outcome of his previous endeavor. He envisioned himself a champion, which ultimately manifested on October 28th, 2017.
There was a sigh of relief and a burst of excitement after his name was called consecutively. Satterfield exchanged hand shakes with the other contestents as they exited the stage. He posed unaccompanied, and for the first time achieved his first overall Bodybuilding title and Professional license.
