Marco Sandoval, Co-Founder of Emfy Apparel, is on a mission to build his company. The twenty-three year old entrepreneur has his eyes set on financial freedom, along with working with the collective to create change.
After years of working in the service industry, Sandoval decided to become a business owner. He spoke about feeling "ashamed" because he could not afford a gift for his mother's birthday. In early 2014, during his regular gym routine with Co-Founder Skylar Salvatore, both decided to take a risk to start their own company.
Sandoval also found inspiration through training in the gym. At one point, he weighed over 280lbs. The thought of being overweight, broke, and at a crossroads in life, was all the motivation he needed. From there on, everything he did had meaning.
Emfy Apparel is a company with meaning. Every aspect including, the logos, name, colors, have a specific purpose. The goal of the company is to have an ability to affect and change lives. The plan is to instill motivation in people with workouts, to encourage fitness, to be healthy, and to chase dreams.

"I want people to look at my brand and ask what is that? What does that logo mean? It means you start, you go, you have ups and downs in life, the arrow is going up because you should always be progressing," said Sandoval.
About 2-5% of Emfy's net profits are donated to cancer research. Sandoval hopes to expand the list to help other organizations such as providing water to children in Central America, Africa, and other third world countries.
"I want to make it my mission to help people on this Earth because we're all on the same team, we're all the same race, and the only way we will all progress is if we unite," Sandoval said.
